THE LAWS OF
CRICKET
(Thanks
to the MCC c/o www.lords.org)
Okay,
I'll be honest with you, I was going to put the entire set of Laws
of Cricket on this site, but when I went to www.lords.org and
saw how much of it there was, I thought sod you, I'm not going
through all that lot!
So I
didn't.
Instead,
I have placed a link (below) for you to download the latest version
of the laws of Cricket that came direct from the MCC/Lords HQ web
site.

the Laws of Cricket 2003 (including amendments) by CLICKING

If for
some reason you have difficulty opening the document, you may need
Adobe Reader. You can download the latest version by clicking
the image below (It's FREE by the way).

THE FIELD OF PLAY
For information
purposes, below you will see a couple of images relating
to the day-to-day participation of the game. One is the actual
pitch itself and the regulation dimensions (God knows we need to
look at that, I'd swear it gets
bigger each year!) and the other is a visual of the fielding positions.
Now we'll have
no excuse for standing in the wrong place looking sheepishly embarrassed.
Pitch Dimensions
Dimensions
are in Imperial and that new fangled metric system

Fielding Positions
Based
on a right handed batsman at the crease
